Bolam Lake Country Park near Belsay, in Northumberland, was constructed about 1817 by Lord Decies of Bolam. It was bought by Northumberland County Council in 1972, and is now a well maintained visitor site. I had been out on a long day's shooting, and as I returned home tired I was unable to resist the calm, misty conditions, and got all my gear out again to make this peaceful image.
