I have travelled to many countries to make images which I hope capture the essence of the people and places I have encountered. It is fascinating to see the different landscapes as I travel, and to note how the people adapt to their environment in rural and urban surroundings, whether in the UK, Europe, or Asia. Whenever I can, I try to engage with people in the scene I might be photographing, and have met some great characters
