TALL SHIP KRUZENSHTERN
The Kruzenshtern is a four-masted barque built in 1926 at Bremerhaven, Germany as a cargo ship named the Padua. Later renamed, and re-commissioned , she is now a Russian sail training ship. She is pictured here in 2005 at the mouth of the Tyne, with the Groyne, South Shields, in the background.
