These fine quality giclée prints are
original images, where the photographer will spend
a considerable time using light and technique to create the final
piece of photographic art before finally printing, and signing it.
Photographic art prints are individually produced on an Epson 2100 printer,
using Epson Archival Matte papers, with Epson inks. If the photographer
feels it more appropriate for the image, another paper in the Epson range,
such as watercolour, semi-gloss, or canvas may be used, or occasionally,
Fuji Crystal photographic paper. The photographer will use his discretion
to obtain the best possible quality for an individual image.
For optimum image quality, and to preserve your print for up to 70 years,
prints should be treated with the care you would afford other photographs
or works of art. Mounting them under glass to protect from humidity and
other contaminents, as well as being careful to avoid hanging them in
direct sunlight, will all help to increase their longevity.
Colours may vary slightly because of differences
in screen resolution. The images displayed on screen are low
resolution, though actual print quality is very high.
Print sizes are shown as approx 10x8", but because image
dimensions vary between 35mm film, medium format film, and digital
camera files, there may be a small difference in print sizes.
